FRAISA POLYTAP-R
| FRAISA has introduced a special designed tap for use with CNC machines having "RIGID TAPPING feature. With a synchronised spindle drive, the geometry of the tap can be more heavily oriented towards the metal cutting process - making it possible to machine different materials with a single geometry. |  |

| Since the need for special clamping equipment no longer exists, the taps
have long shanks with a lateral clamping surface. The HSS-PM/F powder-metallic cutting material, features extreme toughness and increased Vanadium content. This has the effect of raising production reliability and safety, as well as extending the service life of the tool. TiCN coating optimises the abrasion resistance and allows for higher cutting speeds. |
